Danny is a supporter of League Two Gillingham where he has been a season ticket holder since the early 1990s.
He describes David Platt’s winner in the last minute of extra-time against Belgium at Italia 90, when he was just 9 years old, as the moment that changed his life. Before that goal his life consisted mostly of Kylie Minogue, The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and a Paul Daniels Magic Set. When he isn’t busy making other plans he writes about football and all the wonderful things about it.
