Everton supporters living the dream at Goodison Park

The hugely popular Football Aid events have been running since 2001 and allow supporters the chance to Live the Dream in an authentic match day experience.

Players gain exclusive access to the pitch and tunnel areas, pull on their own personalised shirt in the official changing rooms, walk down the tunnel to the sound of a cheering crowd and finally step out on to the hallowed turf and represent their club in a never to be forgotten 90 minutes of football. And to cap it all you can be proud of the fact that you’ll be raising money for charity at the same time as well!

Our matches have been supported by a host of football legends, with the likes of Denis Law (Football Aid Patron), Danny McGrain (Football Aid Vice Patron), Pat Nevin, Bryan Robson, John Barnes, Peter Beardsley, Neil Lennon, Ally McCoist, Graeme Le Saux, Ricky Villa, Gary McAllister, Denis Irwin, Ozzie Ardiles, Gary Mabbutt and many more, all lending their invaluable support in recent years by playing alongside or managing the supporters in the hugely enjoyable end of season matches.

Season 2012 Player Testimonials

“Un-ending thanks for continuing to lay on the greatest opportunity any football fan can have – to experience playing at their club’s ground! Oh yes, and Football Aid has also enabled me to play at Hampden and the Millenium Stadium – therefore anybody who has any part in making the pitches available in this way deserves all the praise and a simple email like this won’t ever properly convey how appreciative I am of the chance to experience the grounds from on the grass rather than in the stands.

I have to say that the organisation and detail which goes into the day really makes for a great occasion – playing would be fantastic on its own, but the whole day, with the officials, massage team, team sheets and hospitality/refreshments etc, and professional recording of the event makes it really, really special.

A charity which gives ordinary fans like me, whose greatest attribute is not their skill or ability but their enthusiasm, such a chance is truly in a class of its own – and long may it continue!” - Kenneth Cobb, Liverpool 2012

“Well, where do you start, my whole body is slowly recovering and not just from the game but, from the whole experience of playing at Goodison Park!

The staff at Goodison where fantastic and made you feel as though you were actually playing for their club. Like any big event, there is always a a lot of people to thank who together have made your day such a perfect one.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the Football Aid staff for their faultless organisation yet AGAIN & AGAIN, the physio team who fixed our aches and pains, and finally to my fellow Away team players and everyone else who was involved on the day. The whole experience was outstanding once again, from relaxing in the players lounge, to walking into the dressing room and seeing my kit hanging there…that always bring a smile to your face.

Hope to see you all in 2013.” - John Jessop, Everton 2012
