As we eagerly anticipate the next instalment of the legendary arcade title check out the official taster of what to expect below.

It promises many changes from the 2010 edition that seemed to have lost out to arch-rival FIFA’s offering. Producer’s Konami claim better passing with an improved ‘through-pass’ feature and closer ball-control in addition to slicker graphics and of course updated squads for those already queuing up for its October release date.

Will it return to its engrossing ‘pick-up-and-play’ roots that made it a cult hit or has it lost out yet again by over-emphasising on tricks and graphics?
